Technology Comparison

SAA is a rope-like array of sensors and microprocessors that fits into a small (27 mm; 1.049" ID) casing. Any deformation that moves the casing is accurately measured as a change in shape of the SAA.

Vibrations may also be measured, at multiple points. Most  SAAs are reel-mounted and can be 100 m (330') long.

SAA is re-useable. The same array can be used for horizontal or vertical measurements.

All Measurand Geotechnical sensors are available with solar power and  wireless communication so your data are ready for web viewing whenever you connect to the internet.

Measurand software includes 3D display, alarms, exports, and real-time viewing of 2D and 3D shape. Options are available for viewing vibration spectra.
