Long Story:
We are now past 20,000 meters of installed SAAs.
Thank you, customers world-wide!
Recently Completed/Underway:
- A new 70 m x 4 m addition to Measurand production facilities.
- Convergence measurements of tunnels using SAA.
- Field comparison of 60 m SAAs to same-hole inclinometer readings matches within the
resolution of both types of instrument.
- Monitoring daily effects of tides on soil deformation in the UK.
- Monitoring deformations in the 5 km Zurich train tunnel.
- Monitoring deformation in the Amsterdam Subway project.
- Four SAAFs wirelessly monitored a man-made earth slide at an oilsands operation.
- Measurement of pile deformations during lateral load testing.
- Wireless cellnet measurement of concrete dam deformations.
- Scanning of sheetpile and drilled boreholes to ensure “built to spec.”
- Wireless cellnet monitoring of bridge abutment and railway trackbed subsidence.
New Technology:
- VW piezometers with SAA-like interface.
- SAA3D Graphall view: See SAA, PZ, EPC, and SG data all on the same graph.
- SAA232-ISO provides more lightning protection, and special power boost for long cables/SAAs.
- SAA Field Unit includes a portable battery and an interface for reading SAA in a
remote place without power.
- SAACR_raw2data is now processing piezometer data and posting SAA and PZ data to web
pages.
- New SAA232-5 product enables interfacing up to five SAAs to one serial port on a
CR logger or PC... up to 20 SAAs on one CR1000 logger, or 10 on CR800!
- Auto-conversion of third-party piezometer data through our SAACR_raw2data converter.
- Complete compatibility with Campbell Scientific CR1000 AND CR800 loggers.
- Inauguration of “AIA” SAAFs, capable of much more rapid collection of raw deformation
data, “Averaged in Array.”
- Complete compatibility of multiple SAAFs with Campbell Scientific CR1000 loggers
and Campbell Loggernet system.
- Wireless serial data collection from six SAAFs into one central PC at a range of
1 km, with fully EU-compliant equipment.
