SAAF is an SAA for monitoring deformation and vibration in the field. All microprocessors in the array share the same digital communication line, enabling long array lengths to 100 m (limited only by pressure-withstand of the coverings). For installations within 60 deg of vertical, SAAF reports a 3D polyline representing its shape. Software can be set to read 2D data when the array is all or partly near-horizontal.
The SAAPZ is a vibrating wire piezometer which uses the same robust digital communication protocols as the SAAF arrays. It can be read directly with a PC running SAARecorder using the SAAUSB cable or SAA Field Unit, or connected to loggers using either SAA232 or SAA232-5. SAAPZs are constructed using Geokon 4500S vibrating wire piezometers, providing the comfort of using a product with a long standing history of customer satisfaction while removing the need to use vibrating wire interfaces.

Special Application Arrays
The standard SAAF can be used in most applications. The special application arrays are for very specific applications where the standard SAAF cannot be used. Please call Measurand for information on the special application arrays.
